Thornton Cleveleys has two new Councillors after Conservatives won two dramatic victories yesterday.
In the Thornton Cleveleys Central county council seat, Conservative Jim Lawrenson beat Labour 1536 to 934. UKIP finished far behind on 489 and the Liberal Democrats – who didn’t even come to see the votes be counted – took only 220.
